I have no idea why but I’m actually feeling pretty good today. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened. My “ordinary” means I read a lot, watch political stuff on YouTube, and browse Pinterest. Usually the stuff I pin is kind of depressing, sometimes it’s just quotes, and the very occasional book-related thing but I caught myself pinning stuff that wasn’t any of those things. And before I went on Pinterest, I was watching stuff on YouTube about the Dakota Access Pipeline and that’s definitely not cheerful stuff so I have no idea where this “feeling good” stuff is coming from.
I’m not in any way complaining! I don’t expect it to last too long because that would be unrealistic but hey, I’ll take what I can get for however long it lasts.
Last night, I did watch several videos on mindfulness meditation and while I haven’t done any of it without the guided videos, I’m open to doing that. I honestly didn’t think it would be very constructive but I think I might be changing my opinion on that. Can’t hurt, can it?
